Business Analyst
The North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) is now
accepting applications for a Business Analyst position.
Responsibilities include:
The evaluation of program activities, needs assessments, consumer surveys, and data collection for activities associated with NTBHA and all programs that NTBHA oversees.
Constructs databases to read, utilize and analyze data
Responsible for data analysis, interpretation and mining for use primarily in the production of the monthly Management Report and the quarterly Data book and other data related reports and analysis.
Continually monitors and evaluates data related to the delivery of behavioral health in NorthSTAR and publishes reports on the same.
Develops, implements, and maintains essential data collection and reporting systems to support the research agenda; provides research data needed for department operations; and ensures accuracy of data used for research projects and reporting.
Coordinates external requests for data and requests to conduct research to ensure such requests are consistent with the department’s research agenda.
Applicants must have at least two years experience in editing and manipulating large data files, and the ability to articulate data to others.
Advanced knowledge of Access, and Excel required. Intermediate Business Objects, and Powerpoint skills. Visual Basic and Web Expressions is a plus.
Provides technical assistance to other departmental staff engaged in outcome evaluations and quality assurance activities.
Responsible for maintenance, additions, and deletions to the NTBHA website.
Must have previous experience as a Business or Data Analyst with a bachelor's degree in a business, social services or IT-related field, although a Master's degree is preferred.
Applicant must be a self-starter and able to work with little to no supervision. This position affords a great deal of autonomy, but the applicant must be able to bring ideas and solutions to the table. Position reports directly to the Executive Director.
Applicant must be extremely detail-oriented, reliable, and have excellent communication and writing skills. This is a full-time position with benefits.
