Quick Reference: Procurement Portal Tasks (Xander Hancock)

This is a condensed checklist for adding and removing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Applications (RFAs) on the Procurement Portal. Full step-by-step details with a screenshot are in the Providers & Procurement Page doc in this same BetterDocs section.

Adding a New RFP or RFA #

Step 1: Upload the RFP/RFA PDF (and any addendum) to the Media Library.

Step 2: Go to wp-admin, Pages, Procurement Portal, and choose Edit with Elementor.

Step 3: Click the bulleted list under Current Bid Opportunities at NTBHA to select its Text Editor widget.

Step 4: Add a new bullet with a clear title and link it to the uploaded PDF using the link icon in the toolbar.

Step 5: Click Update to publish immediately.

Removing a Closed Bid Opportunity #

In the same Text Editor widget, select the bullet line for the closed RFP/RFA and delete it, then click Update.

Pharmacy Services and Prescriptions

If you qualify for NTBHA mental health or substance use recovery services, NTBHA pays for medications prescribed for you by your physician in the NTBHA network of providers. Over 200 pharmacies in the six-county region of Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro and Rockwall Counties can fill prescriptions ordered for you by your NTBHA provider.

NTBHA’s Prescription Assistance Program (PAP)
Helps arrange access to medications donated by the pharmaceutical manufacturing companies for individuals who qualify for the PAP program. Both the person and the prescribing physician are notified in writing about the eligibility decisions. Prescribed medications are either sent to the doctor’s office, or the person is sent a pharmacy card for the prescription medication. Please call 469-445-2990 or email pap@ntbha.org.
